DMG(Directional Multi-Gigabit)関連のプロトコルは全て読み飛ばした。

1. Introduction
   Wi-Fiを使ったdevice to device connection を行うための技術。Wi-Fiを使ったP2Pとでも思えば良い。
2. Architectural overview
   P2P group owner とP2P client の２つのrole がある
   GOとP2P client/legacy client は1:nで接続され、これがP2P groupと呼ばれる
   infraモードでAPに接続しながらP2P接続を行うことも可能
   2.4 Functions and services
   11bは使わない(2.4ghz帯なら11g以上を使う)とか、前提にしているWi-Fiの規格がある
   P2P特有の機能も定義されている(P2P discovery, P2P group operation, P2P power management, managed P2P device operation )
   P2P device address とP2P interface address が存在し、状況に応じてどちらかが使われる。
3. Functional description and procedures
   • 3.1. P2P discovery
     4つの機能がある
     • device discovery
       他のP2P device を見つけて、接続先を決定する
       Listen state/Scan phase/Find phase
       それぞれのモードでフレームフォーマットなどに決まりがある
     • Service discovery
       P2P device が提供するサービスやcompatibility についてやりとりする
     • Group formation
       group ownerと、P2P group の特徴を決める
       ココにGOの決め方やinvitation のプロセスが詳しく載っている
     • P2P invitation
   • 3.2 P2P group operation
     P2P session への接続や切断方法などについて
   • 3.3 P2P power management
     P2Pの場合、opportunistic power save とnotice of absence という手法を用いたP2P用のpower save 方法を使う

     IT部門に管理された場合のEnterprise P2Pについて

NFC を使ったP2P 接続についても仕様が定まっていることを初めて知った。
DMGの周波数を使っているか否かで仕様が変わるのを初めて知った。
